The Marketing Shop.com’s Social Networking Seminar & Happy Hour at Bengal Coast on July 24, 2009 was a huge success! Hosted by Jenna Ryan, President & CEO of The Marketing Shop.com, and Amy Arey, Realtor with 3B Real Estate, this special event was attended by 40-50 business owners, realtors, attorneys, mortgage brokers, small business owners and corporate business developers.
Ryan gave a presentation on “Web Content for Social Networks” from 5pm-6pm, afterwards the group moved to the bar area for some real-time socializing. “It’s good to meet people face-to-face that you have been interacting with online. Every time I meet someone in person from Facebook, I’m astounded at how neat they are. You just can’t know someone completely online. Meeting people face-to-face makes a world of difference. My Facebook friends are amazing people. I can’t say enough good things about each-and-every person I met. Seriously.”
We are looking forward to our next Social Networking Seminar, set to be hosted at an undisclosed location in Austin, Texas in August 2009. “We’re excited to take our Seminars on the road to major cities in Texas like Austin. We believe there is a huge interest for marketing through social networking among small business owners, and we are happy to provide Free Seminars to get the word out about our company–and have fun at the same time.”
