Your website must have CLEAN CODE. That means, there is not a lot of junk in it. It’s best to use CSS for styling and a table-less design. All of this is done for you with the WordPress platform.

  • Website built with CSS (preferrably WordPress)
  • Website with clean URLs (Mod-rewrite may be necessary)
  • Blog – In addition to original website, sitting on a different server.
  • Keyword rich navigation
  • Keyword rich content
  • Google Site Map

Before you build your website, you need to talk with an SEO and web marketing expert. I can’t tell you the number of times I get a client AFTER their website is built, only to have to redo everything to get the site up-to-par. Find out what you need BEFORE you spend a fortune on a site that won’t go anywhere.

    Main KP | SEO Keyword Research

    *** MAIN KP *** You must choose ONE Keyword Phrase to be the main keyword phrase of your website. I call this the MAIN KP. It’s tough for people to understand this, but that’s the way it has to be.

    Don’t worry!!! It doesn’t mean that you won’t get to the top for all your other phrases, it just means that we’re going after that ONE MAIN KP with a vengeance. This main KP needs to be a very competitive one, yet not so competitive as it would be impossible to get to the top. You Main KP should be no more than 3 words max.

    Main KP Examples:

    • Collin County Real Estate
    • Small Business Website Design
    • Social Media Marketing Solutions
    • Gold Jewelry
    • Event Party Planner
    • Dallas Wedding Photographer

    Choose your Main KP carefully because it cannot change for at least a year. If you keep making changes to your SEO, it will hurt your progress.
