Each conversation on Facebook is recorded and accessible through a URL address, like this:
http://www.facebook.com/jenna.ryan1?v=feed&story_fbid=1263986682104.
It’s called a feed, or a string–and you can access it by going to the conversation and copying the URL in the browser.
Using conversations in your blog can be helpful if you have positive client experiences through social networks. It’s great because you can show what people are saying about you in a more true fashion, without appearing canned.
Displaying past conversations on Facebook can be a wonderful sales tool for a few reasons. First, showing another person in a happy light with your product provides “social proof” of your value. Plus, the real-time finesse matches today’s marketplace. New consumers don’t want to see canned material. We want real-authentic-genuine people and experiences. True conversations are more believable to our digital audience, triggering higher notions of credibility.
Yesterday I had a conversation with a potential client on Facebook that would blow away any sales copy I could ever write. In this string of posts and comments, is tidbits of data about my company and what makes it great–in real life fashion. (A bell ringing example of SEO combined with Social Network generates leads.)

How?
Copy the URL of the conversation and paste it into your blog. Use the cut and paste features on your keyboard. One downfall is that the person has to be logged-in and registered with Facebook to see the content, but most people are already members of the site anyway.
Thoughts on Facebook Conversations and Marketing
Our digital conversations are FOREVER encoded into binary numbers and reachable through an address on our browsers. There is an infinite space on the web to hold what everyone says. Quite interesting implications for how to best market our products and services, as well as displaying our digital marketing collateral in a realistic and convincing way. The possibilities for such use for marketing are out-of-bounds.
