What is the Google Sandbox?
The Google Sandbox or Trustbox as it is now being called is the process by which Google makes new web sites "prove themselves" as reputable sites before they can take on any real rankings in its search results.
This page will contain all the information that will be gathered regarding this phenomenon, including arguments as to whether or not it is true.
The Google Sandbox
Nobody knows the exact length of the Google Sandbox, and it has been our experience at The Marketing Shop that the time varies depending upon the industry of the site. We have seen it take up to six months in some cases, though usually it's closer to a year.
According to an article on the Textlinkbroker's blog, "Sites must reach the right age and have relevant links from authoritative sites." The latest Jaggar update has forced web sites to not only have a large quantity of incoming links from reputable websites, but a better quality of links as well.
