Should I require visitors to register before allowing them to view your MLS / IDX search? This is a good question. Our clients have had success with requiring registration, especially in good markets. You do run the risk of turning visitors away, but then you gain the added benefit of getting more leads. This is something you should test to see what works best for your real estate practice, and your market. There are options available in our MLS systems that allow you to tweak the registration requirements for MLS searches.
