SEO Process | Search Engine Optimization
There are two types of search engine optimization:
1. On-Site Optimization - The building your website.
2. Off-Site Optimization - Connecting your website.
ON-SITE OPTIMIZATION PROCESS
1. Domain name determination: First we consult with you regarding the SEO efficiency of your domain name.
2. Overall site objectives analysis. At this point, we work with you to determine your unique marketing angle (niche) for your web site.
3. Keyword research. Using a variety of tools, we analyze the best keyword phrases to target that will grant the quickest success.
4. Site layout plan. Using the Marketing Machine Semi-Custom Web Template (a similar layout to this page), we determine how best to layout your site and navigation using your keywords and keeping your overall objectives in mind.
5. Custom graphics design. We design your website using your ideas, your current logo and our creative design abilities. If this is your first site, we help you to establish a basic logo brand identity. Once we create the look-and-feel of your site, you are able to review it for approval.
6. Build web site. Once we have all the information we need, we start building your web site and customizing your forms.
7. Research and write web site content. We have boiler plate web content that we have written for a handful of industries on hand. We will use both our previously written content and newly researched content to customize your web site for search engine optimization and for people.
8. Geo-targeting. During the building and content writing process, we spend time inserting geographical related keywords and elements to help your web site achieve maximum effectiveness in the areas you are targeting.
9. On-page SEO implementation. Once the pages begin to come together, we begin the process of inserting keywords (or making sure the keywords inserted already are in alignment with best SEO practices).
10. Client review. Once we finish the site the client is given the opportunity to request changes and ask questions. We prefer that you print the web site out and fax the pages into us individually all at one time for change requests during this phase of development. That helps us to understand exactly what you are requesting, and it eliminates mistakes in the receipt and/or transmission of the change requests.
11. Legal review. Many of our clients find it necessary to have their legal advisors review the site for accuracy and legality. The Marketing Shop is skilled at writing in a way that pleases lawyers, search engines and web site visitors. All content scrutiny is welcome.
12. Web site launch. At this point we make the necessary adjustments with your DNS name server and launch the site for the world to see. We will make minor changes to your site for 30 days after the official launch date of your web site free of charge (this offer is not good if you fail to pay for your web site in full).
Off-Site SEO Process
After your website is built, it will need considerable work to get it orbiting at the top of the sear engines. We offer monthly SEO Maintenance packages once your site is built.
