Algorithm - Programs sent by search engines to travel the links of the web to index textual content and other data from all the indexable pages on a website.
Back Link - A link from another website to your website is a back link or inbound link to your website.
Inbound Link - A link from another website to your website is an inbound link or back link to your website.
IBL - Acronym for Inbound Link, also called back-link.
Google Page Rank - The measure of value that Google places on a given web page. Learn more about Google Page Rank.
Page Rank Leakage - Site A experiences Page Rank Leakage when it is a PR 5 and links to Website B that is a PR 0. The PR of Site A would be reduced to 4 and the PR of Website B would be increased to 1.
RPR - Acronym for "Real Page Rank" as opposed to the page rank that shows in the Google Toolbar. See Real Page Rank.
Real Page Rank - RPR is the behind-the-scenes ranking system that Google uses to determine the importance of a webpage and its rankings. This is not to be confused with the PR shown in the Google Toolbar. The RPR is on a 7 point scale while the Google Toolbar uses a 10 point scale.
